Feature Walls

The launch of my new wallpapers has finally arrived!!

Make bold decisions with your walls

Using colour and pattern to turn your house into a home

I am thrilled to be able to bring to you the first of a few designs in a range of wallpapers that I have been working on. It has been a dream of mine to be able to launch this range, and I have been asked in the past if certain designs will be available as wallpapers, but, with the frustrations of having a small business and not knowing where to start with sampling etc it has taken a long while and lots of research to finally get to this point.

The design process for each wallpaper is very specific because of the colours and imagery used. This is because once a design has been established the size of the pattern on the wall needs to be considered, for example how large or small I think the pattern should repeat. Getting the balance right is of course absolutely imperative because if the design is too large it may become too overpowering, or too small it would look too busy.

Design your home with passion

Add personality with a feature wall

This is where all the sampling comes into play, not only to see how the colours perform, but also scale! This process can be a particularly long process for independent designers if things need to be tweaked. It will mean re-working on a particular design and requesting more sampling before we can even consider launching the final design.

But after all the hard work behind the scenes - the wallpapers are then ready to be launched!

Amanda West wallpapers are available by the roll, 52cm width, by 10m, and is a paste the wall product. This means that the wallcovering is easier to handle than standard rolls, is easier to remove from the wall, and is a lot less messier too.

Be inspired by your surroundings

A cosy and delightful space can really lift your spirits

If you wish to use your wallpaper in a kitchen or bathroom then it is recommended to seal the wallpaper to help waterproof it and protect it from any damage. It is highly recommended to let the wallpaper dry out completely for 24 - 48 hours before proceeding with sealant. Once it is completely dry you can then apply a decorators varnish. This should help to protect it from any water damage and stains and prolong the life of your wallpaper.

The range of wallcoverings are printed onto non-woven FSC certified paper using water-based eco friendly inks which are fade proof and wipeable. The non-woven papers are also made from recycled materials and printed in the UK.

During the launch of the wallpapers a discount code will be sent to you for your first order of wallpaper after you have ordered your first sample. Click here to see the range and order an A4 sample!
